Led by local business leaders and composed of representatives from public sectors, educators, labor unions, and community-based organizations, the Board ensures effective allocation of resources. Operated under the guidance of the Workforce Development Board, the San Bernardino County Workforce Development Department (WDD) administers programs funded by the Department of Labor’s Workforce Innovation and Opportunity Act (WIOA). Through our three America’s Job Centers of California (AJCCs) situated strategically across the East Valley, West Valley, and High Desert Regions, WDD implements comprehensive strategies tailored to meet the demands of local businesses for skilled workers. Simultaneously, these initiatives provide avenues for job seekers to acquire necessary skills and access well-paying career opportunities.
